Senior Research Associate
Environment and Climate Change Cluster
BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University
I use mixed-methods research to explore the complex intersections of environment, economics, and policy. Rather than looking at single factors in isolation, I am interested to analyze how these dynamics shape household livelihoods and community resilience. My goal is to generate data-driven insights that help communities navigate climate adaptation and public policy shifts to build a more sustainable future.
About Me
I work under the supervision of Dr. Munshi Sulaiman and Dr. Rohini Kamal, focusing on research at the intersection of environment, climate, and development.
My journey began through the Young Researchers' Fellowship program (2022), starting as a Trainee Research Associate, then serving as Research Associate before my current role.
I hold bachelor's and master's degrees in Development Studies from the University of Dhaka.
Beyond research, I explore data analysis, productivity tools, and digital literacy—passionate about empowering individuals to navigate online information effectively in an era of misinformation. I also design and build digital tools and websites to communicate research and improve access to information, including CyberWise BD | Stay Safe Online, a digital literacy project focused on helping people stay safer and more informed online.
