Hello, I'm
Md Mohsin Hossain
Senior Research Associate · Environment and Climate
Change Cluster
BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD), BRAC University
I study how environmental factors shape social and economic outcomes through mixed methods research.
About Me
I work under the supervision of Dr. Munshi Sulaiman and Dr. Rohini Kamal, focusing on research at the intersection of environment, climate, and development.
My journey began through the Young Researchers' Fellowship program (2022), starting as a Trainee Research Associate, then serving as Research Associate before my current role.
I hold bachelor's and master's degrees in Development Studies from the University of Dhaka.
Beyond research, I explore data analysis, productivity tools, and digital literacy—passionate about empowering individuals to navigate online information effectively in an era of misinformation.
Research Interests
My research interest lies in the intersection of public policy, sustainable livelihoods, and climate change adaptation. I aim to understand the mechanisms by which environmental factors affect communities and individuals, and how they can adapt to new challenges. Using both quantitative and qualitative methods, I seek to generate data-driven insights with a holistic perspective.
